Jekyll Island Club and Driftwood Beach Engagement Session, Jekyll Island Wedding Photographers

What a fun couple Travis and Pamela are! We loved meeting them and every minute of the time we spent with them this past week shooting their Engagement Session on Jekyll Island. You can tell just from being around them for a short period of time how much they love each other and enjoy spending time together. It was so cute to witness. They gave us a bit of a surprise when they announced that they had actually snuck off last week and eloped so that they were in fact married!!!! Sweet!!!!!!

We started off at the stunning Jekyll Island Club Hotel and walked around the grounds enjoying the lovely sunshine (what a beautiful day it was). Then we snuck off to a location in the woods that Paul and I just adore. The tree canopy there is stunning and it is well off the beaten path. Then our last stop was Driftwood Beach which is always drop dead gorgeous.

St Simons Avenue of Oaks and East Beach Engagement Session, St Simons Island Wedding Photographers

I know I may gush over this beautiful St Simons Island Engagement Session, but I just can't express what a great time Paul and I had with the wonderful Abbie and Kevin!!  The weather was just perfect as we started out under the majestic Avenue of Oaks and then headed over to The Lodge with one of Sea Island's fantastic golf courses overlooking the St Simons Sound.

Our next destination was a place very near and dear to the couple, Goulds Inlet and East Beach, where Kevin proposed to Abbie.  Everything about this Engagement Session was so much fun and we just can't wait for their upcoming Wedding!!

Jekyll Island Club and Driftwood Beach Engagement Session, Jekyll Island Photographers

I love this couple.  I first met Kristin and she is one of those people that you feel is an instant friend. I just knew someone as special as her was going to be marrying someone just as fabulous. Paul and I had a blast with her and Neal on their Engagement Session and can't wait for their wedding. 

Here is the sneak peak of their pictures....aren't they are cute couple? We started off at the gardens of Crane Cottage at the Jekyll Island Club and ended up on Driftwood Beach.

For those of you who have been following us for a while on Facebook you may recognize this couple Amber and Joel. They and another couple Bonnie and Sean won our facebook competition a while ago for $500 off of their wedding. It was a super close race and I was so impressed with all of the support that both couples had from family and friends. After having now worked with both Bonnie and Sean as well as Amber and Joel I can see why....they are really amazing people. 

Amber and Joel were joined in their session by Chole their adorable spotted puppy. We started at the Jekyll Island Club before heading over to Driftwood Beach to catch the last rays of sun. What a beautiful evening it was. They had me cracking up and were so fun to hang out with. Their wedding is just around the corner and we are looking forward to hanging out with them again!!!!

Ah....puppy love. More and more couples are asking if they can bring along their precious pooch to their Engagement Session. Absolutely.....we love dogs!!! So as it turns out we had two Engagement Sessions this weekend and two cute couples with doggies who both wanted to use the same locations for the shoot. Talk about deja vue!!! 

Friday I was joined by Kristen and Thomas with their beautiful Weimaraner Stella. It was so much fun finally getting a chance to meet them....I can't wait for their wedding!!!!! They were a joy to work with and made the session a lot of fun. Aren't they super cute????

I love Engagement Sessions. Not only does it give me a chance to hang out with a couple before their big day but they are also a lot of fun. We have a ton of amazing locations, looks and dramatic lighting that we can use to create some images that really show off a unique and special relationship.  Here are a few from Kristin and Patrick's session over on Jekyll Island. We started off at Driftwood Beach before heading over to the Jekyll Island Club Hotel Wharf for some really cool dusk shots. How cool are these two?

Brunswick Ga Engagement Session, Brunswick Photographers

I was so excited when Britni and Kevin asked me to find them a location with a "country" look for their Engagement Session. As soon as they mentioned it...I knew exactly where I wanted to go. Some friends of mine have a gorgeous Dairy Farm just outside town and were very sweet to let us use the farm for our shoot. I love how these turned out!!! Britni and Kevin are just adorable and did a wonderful job relaxing and being themselves in front of the lens.
